Adam L. Hoipkemier

Adam Hoipkemier is an experienced and aggressive litigator with a focus on representing plaintiffs in high stakes financial disputes. Adam’s cases typically involve complex issues arising from fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and other financial misconduct around trusts, wills, real estate, and business partnerships. Adam limits his caseload to a select number of cases that allow him to focus his undivided attention on obtaining the best result for every client. Unlike most business litigators that bill by the hour, Adam generally accepts representations on a contingency fee basis.

Prior to founding EHDH with his partners, Adam Hoipkemier defended Fortune 500 clients at large and mid-size firms in Atlanta. Since starting the firm, Adam served as lead counsel in class actions in Georgia, Florida, and California against six of the largest financial institutions in the country, which resulted in settlements totaling more than $60 million. In recent years, Adam has also had success representing a college student in excess force claims against the Athens-Clarke County police department and multiple estate beneficiaries in claims to set aside or invalidate wills or trusts due to fraud, duress, or undue influence. Adam has been selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star for seven consecutive years, an honor reserved to 2.5% of lawyers in the State. Adam is a UGA law grad and remains optimistic that the Dawgs will win a college football national championship in his lifetime. Adam, his wife, Kim, and three young children live in Brookhaven.

  • “[Adam] was great, straight to the point yet kind and understanding. I like lawyers like Adam Hoipkemier because of the comfort that he provides. Very secure demeanor, that allows you to breathe easy even when things seem tough.”
